The love for birds and nature inspires good and useful ideas, like bottle bird- feeders. The tricky part is the one where we need to drill holes at the bottom of the wine/lemonade or other types of glass bottles. For this we use a diamond drill bit- with ½ inch diameter. Making sure that the surface is always wet (using a sprayer), we start the drilling at 45 degrees angle and not directly on the glass surface, but in advance, then, we slowly move to towards 90 degrees. When the holes are done- one on each side- we glue a little plate on the bottom of the bottle and we fill the bottle with different seeds. We cover it with a cork and wrap a copper wire around the neck, ending it with a ring, so that we can hang it on a tree from the courtyard.
